CMAT September 2014 Result Report:
All India Council for Technical Education has declared CMAT result 2014, otherwise known as CMAT September 2014 result or CMAT 2015 result. The all India merit list for the appeared candidates has been published on the official website of AICTE. The CMAT merit list 2014-2015 has been prepared based on the scores obtained by the students in the September test (First Test) which was taken out from 25th to 28th of September 2014. Official figures are suggesting that near about 43,000+ candidates had appeared for this computer based online test.
The CMAT September 2014 can be preferred as First test as second test will be held in February of 2015. However, the Universities and colleges accepting CMAT scores will start taking admissions for the academic sessions 2015-2016 based on this First test too. The AICTE holds the responsibility to conduct and carry out all essential proceedings regarding CMAT examination which facilitates admissions to management courses in the country. Currently more than 400 colleges/Universities accept CMAT score to take admissions in provided MBA/PGDM courses. The exam holds its own importance for management aspirants and considered next to much popular tests CAT and XAT.
CMAT 2015 First Test Result, Rank Details:
Contrary to CMAT result 2014 declaration, the rank list has also been published at www.aicte-cmat.in (official website) along with all the necessary details. The CMAT 2015 First test results were exclusively announced at midnight around 1 AM through the official website and were keenly observed by our reporters to update for the students.
Well, here is informing all the awaiting students that now all can access their results and check their score. The merit list is live and the ranks have been awarded to all of candidates based on their performance in the online test. The list of percentile holders has been listed from top to below in the format shown in image below. The first 5 rank holders are listed in the image.
The marks evaluation is done of the basis of pre-structured rule. Every correct answer consisted of full 4 marks while 1 mark was deducted from total for every wrong answer (as a result of negative marking). Since the examination consisted of four sections named- Quantitative Techniques and Data Interpretation, Logical Reasoning, language comprehension and general awareness.
Percentile calculation is done on the basis of the formula: Percentile P= (N- your marks/N) x 100
* P denotes percentile and N stands for total number of students appeared for exam.
